as expected, hazel did a great job hosting her first pumpkin party. the get together is easily one of my favorite traditions of the year. we spent the afternoon with friends eating gallons of chili frito pie, drank spiked cider until we couldn't anymore, and covered our deck with pumpkin guts.
sadly my trusty leica minilux punked out on me so i couldn't take pics - so this one will have to do this year.
i try to take a long walk with hazel at least a couple times a week- especially while the weather is so great. this was today's adventure (with at pit stop at the pediatrician) maybe i should start making fun shapes on the map and making that my route
two years ago today chris and i got married. right about now i was finishing up my vows and heading over the house to get ready with my best friends. that day was one of my happiest - having a blast with friends, family, and my new husband.
yesterday we celebrated our 'cotton' anniversary by spending the day in robes soaking in tubs and getting massages at AIRE ancient baths.
so much has happened in the last two years if i think about it too much my head might explode. i'm so glad i have an amazing husband to be there by my side through it all. forever.
