i thought about making my good friend becky a succulent plant cake last year, but decided on pantone cookies instead. so when her birthday came around this year making this guy was at the top of my list.
i bought a flower pot from a dollar store in the neighborhood, filled it with dirt cake, and topped it off with little plants i sculpted out of fondant. i used food coloring like watercolors to paint on the gradient/realistic look.
pretty excited about how this turned out.
can someone please hire me to do this full time?
