once again we were traveling when hazel hit her month-versary of her birthdate, which made me realize we've been out of town for four of seven of them.

good thing this girl likes adventure. we'll be traveling for her turning eight months too!

today we're packing our bags and getting on a plane to missouri. we'll be there for two weeks spending quality time with friends and all the aunts and uncles and cousins and grandparents we can fit in.

THE OTHER CAMERA

for the past five years i've carried my leica minilux around with me everywhere. unfortunately for the last while the 'ol minilux hasn't been a very good pal. i've had exposure and scanning issues and processed one bad roll after the other.

i finally decided it was time to make a change

for the past month i switched it up and used the nikon 35Ti i bought chris way back when that he never uses anymore. i'm pretty happy with the new camera!

THANKSGIVING WITH THE OLD SCHOOL HIPSTERS

for hazel's first thanksgiving we drove to colonial williamsburg - where his mother grew up! - to spend the holiday with chris's entire family.

it was actually a lot of fun! we stayed in a old home in the middle of town and walked through the streets, ate at the tavern, and got to see where chris's mom worked as a teenager (in costume of course).
