chris surprised me with this chalk board cheese plate (and a cheese lovers book!) a while back because i looooooove cheese. We went straight to bedford cheese store and bought a few stinky cheeses, some good 'ol mast bros chocolate and sat on our deck drinking wine and snacking like kings.
the whole situation started with a simple story. Rikky was telling us how he lost his phone, and some guy named Alex found it and was gonna meet up with him to give it back.
we started wondering what Alex would look like. then the paper, oil pastels, markers and colored pencils came out. Rehashing the little details we knew about 'Alex' over and over, everyone took a stab at drawing what Alex might look like.
twenty-some drawings later and four calls to Alex asking when he could meet up, all we could do was wait and see.
turns out he was asian and kinda chubby. With a dog.
before all this fashion month craziness started (back-to-back NYC, london, paris, and milan are keeping me so busy my head might spin off), i got back in the groove of knitting - and started with this pillowcase.
i signed up for Bon Appetit a couple months ago. Chris and i decided to make an entire sunday dinner - from drinks to dessert - out of recipes we found and wanted to try in the magazine. This is definitely a new tradition.

this week is one of the biggest weeks of the year at work. Not only did Vogue help produce the biggest fashion show NYC has ever seen (that turned out AMAZING last night at Lincoln Center), NYC fashion week starts tomorrow, and of course Fashions Night Out is on Friday.
to top off the madness, vogue.com woke up this morning with a brand new look.
