we wanted to kick off hazel's first halloween with something special that wasn't too cheesy, so after some brainstorming we came up with a luau. (my mind works in weird ways)
i used the bjorn to hold hazel facing out and made a 'platter' using cardboard, aluminum foil, fake lettuce and a flower lai. it was held up around my neck by some yarn which turned out to be great because it was so easy to get in and out of.
throw on a couple hula skirts, a wig and a ukelele and voilà! a family luau costume.
