BON APPETIT NIGHT - SEPT/OCT ISSUE

I mentioned in my first Bon Appétit post that chris and I were making a new monthly tradition of cobbling together an entire dinner from that month's issue of Bon Appétit. Well september and october were crazy for both of us, so we had to combine the two into one dinner.

Sure it was fun trying these new recipes, but honestly they didn't wow us like August's dinner did. it was a little weak. You can't win 'em all!

    I'd rate them an overall 'meh'. Was really expecting great things from the hush puppies - but they were too rich!

    We just had the November dinner and it turned out great - I'll have to send you those recipes!
