chris and i are starting to get serious about the idea of buying a car, but it's a seriously daunting task. (we're not getting this one, i just think it's cute)
how does one begin that search in NYC? we don't even know what kind of car we want (other than something we can put surf boards on top of). i have a feeling this weekend's going to be full of car talk.

hi christy - noah and i bought a car off craigslist last summer. we got a really good deal - we did have to have some work put into it but not a ridiculous amount. craigslist can be shady but we went with our guts and it worked out great. and im so glad we did it - having the car has totally changed my life in new york and made a lot of things so much easier. having the freedom to just get up and go somewhere in the car when the mood strikes (especially in the summer) is priceless. let me know if you need/want any advice. xo.
